Davies Express

On Tuesday, I took Kira to visit 1st Hunstanton Guides on camp at Eaton Vale, nr Norwich, in the morning we watched them Abseiling and then we had lunch with them and in the afternoon we watched them making a raft and sailing it.

Then on Wednesday i had a Girlguiding Norfolk PR stand at Safer West Norfolk Exhibition in Hunstanton, it was a lovely day, the Air Ambulance landed.

A good book

I have had a busy week, quite busy in the shop, on Tuesday i had a PR meeting in Norwich and got home at 12.10am, On Wednesday, i had Brownies followed by a Division Meeting.  At Brownies we had a lady come in to do some flower arranging as 1st Hunstanton Brownies had been asked to to have a display at St Edmunds Church Flower Festival.

On Wednesday Bob started to replace my shower with a new one, one thing led to another, problem after problem, i now have no bathroom.

Typical.

Today we went for a walk, over the sand dunes to Holme and back along the banks of the River Hun, weather stayed fine.

I took a group of Brownies to Pensthorpe yesterday on an activity day. weather stayed fine, we had a lovely day, there was a Girlguiding stall, our activities included  a nature trail, pond dipping and Parachute games.

Another Glorious day, we did a walk at Castle Acre, and we stopped at a couple of Fords and let the children have a paddle, they loved it, Spot went in the water as well.  We got home and had a BBQ.

A completely different book for me, it was very well written, but i was glad to finish it.

Bob had a medical examination today, and the doctor told him he should go and see his GP as he has Peritonitus, looking it up on the internet, it looks quite worrying.

Their new website is no up and running, www.girlguidingnorfolk.org.uk i am one of the administrators and a lot of the content in the News area i have been putting on, it has been a good learning curve, working my way through it.

Mum and Dad have been on holiday in Debbies caravan this week to Cromer, what fantastic weather they had, jammy devils

On Sunday I attended Race For Life at Norwich on behalf of Girlguiding Norfolk, this seemed an ideal opportunity a female only organisation, joining forces with a female charity, i helped run a Girlguiding Stall, while Brownies and Guides acted as race stewards, and handed out bottles of water and goodie bags at the finishing line.

A completely different book for me, i enjoyed it when i got into it, it made me laugh and cry and feel all things in between.
Quite a few mentions of Norfolk, but i couldn't figure out where.
