    This Blog is designed as an online diary to keep any family and friends who are interested up to date with the family.
    I live next to the sea, in Hunstanton, West Norfolk, UK.
    I am married to Bob with 4 children and 4 grandchildren, Steven married to Jude with Kira and Charlotte, Jenny married to Andy with Sophie and Dylan, then 2 stay at homes, Micheal and Kevin. We also have a retired Greyhound called Spot and an ageing cat called Penny.
    I work full time in the family Business in Hunstanton, Jacksons the Shoe People, the business was started in Leicester in 1938 by my Grandfather and is now run by myself and my sister Debbie, we specialise in extra wide fitting shoes for problem feet. www.jacksons-shoes.co.uk
    I am a Brownie Guider with 1st Hunstanton Brownies and am also a Joint Norfolk County Public Relations Advisor  with GirlguidingUK Norfolk. www.girlguidingnorfolk.org.uk.
    I am also the secretary of 1st Hunstanton Scouts and Guides, represent Hunstanton Brownies on the Hunstanton in Bloom Committee, and am heavily involved in Hunstanton United Businesses.

    I had a Tupperware Party at Parson Drove, the other side of Wisbech, not a nice journey on a dark winters night, driving through the Fens, on narrow inadequate sign posted roads

    A very good read.
    'God what a dump, the baby looked fine, i wonder how much they pay for that hovel.  But it won't help them with the local authority waiting list, they'll be pensioners before they qualify, they'd have done better sleeping on the streets, then they'd get priority.  This is a terrible country to be poor in, that''s if your honest.  The scroungers and cheats do well but try to be dependent and see what help you get'

    When i was a child, i spake as a child, I thought as a child, but when i became a man, I put away childish things.
    A good story but slow moving

    I had an appointment with Michelle to have a manicure and Pedicure.
    I also had an induction at the Gym at the Oasis in Hunstanton.

    I recently finished His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik
    1st novel in the Temeraire series, set in the time of Napolean and Nelson when Dragons joined in the war.   I found the book slow and disjointed.

    I also read When the Wind Blows by James Patterson
    Fantastic Book
    Is it a Thriller, Fantasy, Sci Fi, that is the question
    It is about an 11yr old girl who can fly, she has been bioengineered by a group of greedy scientists

    This evening i had a Tupperware Party in Kings Lynn.

    I have just finished reading Watch Me Disappear by Jill Dawson
    Set in a Fenland Village near Ely., there is also a visit in Hunstanton.

    Also recently read Q is for Quarry by Sue Grafton
    A Kinsey Millhone Mystery.
    Good Well written book.

    Today is my son Kevins 16th Birthday, I had a Brownie Meeting this evening, after Brownies we took Kevin and his friend Danny to the Hungry Horse at Fakenham for a meal.

    I recently finished Anne of Avonlea by L M Montgomery
    Sequal to Anne of Green Gables.

    I attended a Shoe Show at Norwich Castle Museum with Mum and my sister Debbie we drove to Drayton and then bussed in to Norwich. We had a lovely day.

    I have recently read Kisscut by Karin Slaughter
    One of a series of books based on coroner Sara Linton and ex husband Chief of Police Jeffrey Tolliver.
    This was book 2 in the series.
    Sara has 2 greyhounds named Bob and Billy

    At 10am i had an appointment with Michelle for a Pedicure and Manicure the same as i do every month

    I recently finished reading Charlottes Fields by Sarah Kennedy
    Sarah Kennedy is a Radio 2 presenter.
    The book started very slow and then picked up till i couldn't put it down

    I also reas 24 Hours by Greg Iles
    Well written, very good book, a kidnap thriller

    Today i attended a Hunstanton in Bloom meeting, in the council chambers.
    It should have been my first Yoga class after the holidays, but there was a District Meeting for Guiding so I went there.

    I have just read Monday Mourning By Kathy Reichs.
    A brilliant book its No 7 in the Tempe Brennan series, the Sky One series 'Bones is based on these books.

    I also have recently read
    Anne of Green Gables by L M Montgomery
    A nice walk back into my youth, a nice fun light read.
    'What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve.
