It has been a week of High Gales on the East Coast, with the coast on Flood Alert, although the danger has now past.
This morning i took Spot for our morning walk along the sea front, there had obviously been a very high tide, the tide line with seaweed and driftwood was well over the prom, and it was still a very high wind and it was very overcast, the sea looked terribly dark and bleak.
Later on this morning, i met up with my Brownies for the Remembrance Day parade, luckily the clouds had blown away and the wind had dropped, it was still cold, but not too bad, while on the cliff top laying the wreaths at the cenotaph, i spotted some idiots out at sea windsurfing, i bet they were frozen.
That is Charlotte in the pink jacket, holding the flag, although she could do with holding it straighter, and Sophie walking beside her.
We then had our usual sunday get together with the family and i had 10 for Roast Dinner, steven couldn't come as he was working.
